Description
The Beautyflex is a Japanese twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera produced by Taiyōdō Kōki (later Beauty Camera Co., Ltd.) in the 1950s. It was part of the wave of affordable TLRs inspired by the Rolleiflex design, aimed at amateur and enthusiast photographers.
The Beautyflex is appreciated today for its solid build, sharp optics, and vintage charm. While less famous than Rolleiflex or Yashica TLRs, it represents a fascinating part of Japan’s post-war camera industry and remains a collectible option for medium-format enthusiasts.
